Attended funeral of Meng Lai; personally to bid a farewell to her. So many people came. The crematorium hall was packed with family, relatives, friends, colleagues, church mates from Covenant Pres and CEFC.
I am very touched by her life, by her constant effort in reaching out to those in need. A warm, charming smile will always be etched in my memory of her.
As I witnessed the automated transportation of her casket into the furnace, I whispered a goodbye to her under my breath.
"See you Meng Lai in heaven."
