Attended Meng Lai's wake tonight. Seeing her lying in the casket fully at peace brought a closure to her ordeal. She did not look like the Meng Lai I once knew. The once bubbly, vivacious, cheery Meng Lai looked so different.
The wake was so well attended that many had to stand into the hall and even some outside. She had obviously touched many people in her life and many came to grieve her passing on.
