Dropped in at 158 Tai Keng Gardens this morning to return the two backpacks to the Tans. Took opportunity to visit Doris as well. Had a casual chat with her and noted that she looked well and alert today. I believe she rested and felt better today. Poor Doris! She went through so much pain and my heart ached when I saw her weakened state weeks ago. Her rheumatoid arthritis is wreaking her physical body and the medication is weakening her physique.

Frankly speaking I am at a loss as to how to comfort her. All I did was to listen to her and pray for her. I asked God to grant her wisdom so that she can discern what to take and refrain. In addition lots of inner strength to go through each day so that she will not indulge in looking inwards but to fixate her eyes on our Lord. May the Lord have mercy on her and shower her with lots of grace to undergo this phase of her life.
