A Lam family affair! My nephew, Rayvan (known to me as Hon Chung) went through the customary wedding rites on Sunday 3 Dec. As Gu Jie, I need to go for tea ceremony at my second brother's house. Quite a novelty cos it is my first attempt at sipping tea with Chuan and giving out our angpows and gift. This is the second wedding in my extended family. We missed the first wedding six years ago when we were away in USA for family vacation. So this time I made sure that our plans do not "clash" with the wedding.
