My Chrystal turns 18 on Tuesday and my how time flies! Memories flashed back when I first held her on 17 April 1989 right after delivery. Still remembered the forceps marks on her face caused by assisted delivery and the comments made by her late paternal grandfather on why she was "injured". As I read her blog, I am indeed thankful to Elohim for keeping her safe and well all these years. What a blessing she has been in my life! My only daughter is now a young lady; attractive and mature (physically, spiritually and emotionlly) far more than many her age. Her streak of independence is so evident now even when I recalled how she asked me to go home on her first day to nursery at Bethesda Bukit Arang when all other kids were wailing at the top of their little voices.
My prayer for her is that she will continue to grow in her faith and develop into a fine young lady, giving glory to God in all she does.
