The last day of 2007 gave a very piece of news that my Cleopas has been successfully transferred to St Gabriel's Secondary. The fascinating part is we did not even put that choice on the mass appeal form by MOE. In fact that was our first choice when we submitted our choice for secondary schools. He could not qualify the cut-off because of his aggregate. Our dear God knows and hears the desires of our hearts! He made the transfer possible without having us write down the school we desire. We are so grateful to Him for making this happen and you should see the glee on Cleopas' face when he heard the good news. He was beaming the whole day as I rushed around with him getting his new uniform and school books.
The start of 2008 also saw God opening doors for TC in terms of referrals by search consultants and even interviews in the last two weeks. He was kept busy submitting his CV, meeting with consultants and even prospective employers. It is really exciting as I simulate this experience as receiving "rain".Drizzle is referrals by search firms, light rain as interviews and heavy downpour as job offers. As we step into 2008, we want to be raincatchers, poised to receive "rain" from Him as He showers on us. By faith, we trust Him to do that for us. In fact He is now already "raining" on us. Anticipating Him to bring a firm job offer before CNY.
Three days ago, "O" level results were released. We are so happy for Clement that he did well enough to qualify for JC or Poly. His score was 42% lower than his prelim grades. All glory goes to God for helping him do his best. Now we need to help him select the course in Poly for the next 3 years.
