I seemed to have "neglected" my blog after gotten onto Facebook for the last couple of months. What a way to rejuvenate my blog other than food!
Three of us went to Siglap area on Saturday night trying to catch some decent, reasonable food. Landed in a coffee shop selling tzee char. Waitress recommended claypot noodles and rojak chicken. I raised my eyebrows on the names of the dishes and said why not, let's give it a try. When the food came, we were especially surprised with the rojak chicken. It is basically deep-fried chicken pieces topped with prawn paste with shredded cucumber, turnip, pineapples, peanut bits! I felt so cheated. Har, so this is rojak chicken?
Chrystal has to write a food review on 2am dessert bar so I offered to drive her to 2A Lorong Liput to help her with her assignment and sponsored the food. Clement came along and we spent $46.20 on just three items. Two desserts (Chocolate tart & Twix) and Mac & cheese (basically just macaroni with cheese).I personally think it is pricey for the quantity of the food offered and not sure if I will go back again. Not so fanastic anyway.
After our "krappy" dinner last night, we wanted to eat something nicer for lunch today. We drove to Square 2 and stumped into Seoul Yummy, a rather small korean eating place on 3rd storey. It was a pleasant meal and reasonably priced too. Will definitely return with full troop next time.
