So embarrased that my blog was literally dead for so long! My last entry being last year with my BSF discussion group on the book of Matthew. Now I am already 9 months into the Pentateuch and will end in another 2 months. How time flies!!! So muchI has happened and I did not blog about it.

To begin, I have a new discussion group for BSF this year except for Sharon Goh. My new DL is Lili Chung, my long-time friend since 1979. So glad to be in her group and it is a refreshing change.Reading through Deuteronomy and now Numbers were challenging because of its repeitive texts and all the various types of offerings, etc. However it was very enlightening to learn more about my Holy God and His expectations. A truly excellent learning journey.

This year my grand old dame turns 80! Besides the extended family celebration at Qian Xi Restaurant, I brought her for some glamour phototaking for momento reasons. Can tell that she kinda enjoyed the novelty of it being the first time after 45 years!

Chrystal has also gone to Melbourne's University of Monash to pursue her first degree in Communications. Taking advantage of her exemption from her diploma in Mass Communications, her course is only 18 months. Actually minus the summer break, it is only about 15 months. Went over with her in early July for about 10 days to help her settle down. Alas my fiercely independent daughter is on her own and she is coping pretty well. I miss her a lot as the usual "slaykay" person is not around at home. In two months time she will fly home for her summer break. Yay!!!
